Personal, Relationship and Family Counselling

This service includes counselling; therapeutic intervention; support and information and referral. It can help individuals and families improve their wellbeing and work towards positive life functioning. Anyone can use this service including Indigenous Australians, couples, young people and children, family members with intact relationships, extended family members and significant others such as grandparents and carers.

This service can assist with people experiencing:

  • Relationship difficulties.
  • Anxiety, stress or depression.
  • Substance abuse issues or addictive behaviours.
  • Life transition or adjustment issues.
  • Separation or divorce issues.
  • Parenting and children.
  • Safety, family violence, victims of crime or significant trauma.
  • Grief and loss.
  • Sexual, physical, emotional abuse and neglect.
  • Farming families or rural/isolated families, fly in/ fly out & shift work families.
  • Culturally and linguistically diverse families and refugees.
