Centacare Catholic Country SA’s commitment to Quality and Sustainability is guided by the organisations vision, mission and code of ethics.

Quality

Centacare Catholic Country SA is an accredited organisation under the national Quality Improvement Council (QIC) Australian Health and Community Services Standards.

This means that the services offered and the organisation’s practices are certified, we meet ethical standards, we are committed to safety and quality, our performance is assured, and we continually measure and improve our performance outcomes.

Some of the key areas reviewed include:

  • Governance;
  • Management Systems;
  • Consumer and Community Engagement;
  • Diversity and Cultural Appropriateness; and
  • Service Delivery.

Our organisation must meet these rigorous standards and is audited by external body, Quality Innovation Performance, to ensure that our clients can access our services with confidence, and with the knowledge that we comply with all of the regulatory requirements.

Sustainability

We aim to focus on corporate social responsibility including environmental sustainability, along with our ethical obligations to our community and the economy.

Some of our organisation’s current Corporate Social Responsibility efforts include:

  • Reduction in energy usage.
  • Reduction in office waste.
  • Participation in national events such as Clean Up Australia Day.
  • Staff contributing back to our communities by becoming Blood Donors.
  • Provide events for the betterment of the community.
  • Support staff in volunteering in relevant community events.
  • Advocate for social justice.

Corporate Social Responsibility is integral to ensuring our long-term sustainability within the communities in which we serve.
