The program will help families to:

• build and sustain healthy family functioning;
• strengthen the capacity of families to reach their potential;
• encourage self-determination; and
• strengthen connection to community and culture.

Group trainings may include Healing by Art, My Journey, Little Steps, Circle of Security -Parenting and Bringing up Great Kids.

We are funded by the Department for Human Services.

Eligibility

The program is designed to provide earlier help and support to families with low to medium-level risk factors before the challenges escalate. Families with children of all ages, from pre-birth to 18 years of age are eligible.  Families who have successfully addressed high-level risks through the Intensive Family Services (IFS) Program and can confidently step down to a less intensive model of support will also be eligible.

• Referrals to the program can come from Intensive Family Services (as a step-down support), as well as family, community, and self-referrals. ​​
