Flexible Employment Arrangements

We have a strong commitment to ensuring our employees are able to maintain a positive work/life balance. To allow employees to manage work, personal life and family commitments our flexible working arrangements give individuals the opportunity to negotiate their working hours with their manager; in relation to rostered days off, and flexibility around start and finish times. An assessment of the individual position and program will be conducted by Management prior to approval.

Purchase leave

Centacare recognises the value of flexible working arrangements to enable employees to achieve a balance between work responsibilities and personal commitments. Eligible employees have the option of Purchased leave, which is an arrangement allowing employees to purchase up to four additional weeks leave per year.

Employee Assistance Program

Our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a free and confidential counselling service for employees and their immediate families to access external qualified psychologists for personal, family or work related issues that are impacting on the employee’s well-being.
